"I got my start in music with African music. I play the djembe, cajón and drums, among other things. It was only a little later that I discovered playing the bass. I also find it incredibly exciting to hang out in the Ulm session scene, where I met Markus years ago. We played together in IO & DT AND FRIENDS, and later in the Rolling Stones cover band from Ulm, Jiving Sister Fanny."
